| Yes, if you fall into one of the following categories.
Category 1: Courses from another college or university
IIT awards credit for the successful completion of college course work provided that the courses are equivalent to those offered at IIT and were taken at an accredited college or university.
First-year students may receive a maximum of 36 college credit hours.
Students transferring from a two-year college may receive a maximum of 68 semester hours of transfer credit.
Only grades of "C" or better are transferable (a grade of C- is not acceptable).
No credit is given for technology, career or vocational courses, or for experiential learning.
To receive credit, students must submit an official transcript to the Office of Admission for evaluation. Official credit evaluations are completed only after a student is admitted to the university by the Office of Educational Services.

Category 2: International Baccalaureate
Students holding an International Baccalaureate diploma, or who have successfully completed IB examinations, may be awarded credit according to the following regulations:
Credit will be awarded for Higher Level (HL) work only.
Scores of 4 (passing) through 7 (highest) on the HL tests may be considered for credit.
A maximum of 10 hours of credit in each area of HL work will be considered.
To receive credit for IB examinations, students must have their scores sent to the Office of Admission. Students will be notified by mail of what credit they will receive.
Category 3: Advanced Placement Exams
